It’s already half way through January 2018 and it is time for an update on the soon to be released, much improved, candidate console. We have been building a better self-service console with more features to improve the whole candidate experience. This is also the first step towards removing additional Word documents from the recruitment process.

Status

The great news is that a release date is getting closer, so we wanted to tell you a little bit about the new console before it arrives. The main points are as follows:

  • The new candidate console will be mobile friendly and support self-service updates to all application information.  Applicants will be able to quickly identify anything that is outstanding and update their applications according.
  • There will be some branding opportunities for CVMinder customers. We want applicants feel more connected with each employer during the process. These will take the form of logos and so on. Don’t worry, there’s no charge and we’re been creating the images in advance so that you don’t have to do any work.
  • Job search options are easier and the application process will be smoother.

What happens next?

Shortly after releasing the new candidate console, we’ll be adding options to collect:

  • Full educatuion history
  • Continuous work work history

These are key additions for our education and social care customers. Once we capture work history, CVMinder will be able to highlight gaps in employment.

Question: Will we still be able to use our additional application documents?
Answer:    Yes. You’ll have the choice of how to set things up?

Question: Do we have to prepare anything in advance of the change?
Answer:    No. Your system will work in the same way as before until you change your settings.

Question: When will it be ready?
Answer:   Full testing is scheduled to commence in earnest on the 22nd January.
