Leicester Grammar Junior School is a selective, co-educational independent day school of just over 400 pupils aged 3-11; it is today larger than at any time in its history. It is highly regarded across Leicestershire and children are drawn from a wide catchment area.
We are looking for warm, welcoming, enthusiastic and inspiring people to join our team of Lunchtime Supervisors from September 2025. Our Lunchtime Supervisors often have the opportunity to grow into other roles within the school.
Working as a Lunchtime Supervisor
We are looking for Lunchtime Supervisors to work from September 2025, who are able to work on school days only (34 weeks per annum).
The role involves assisting and overseeing the children during lunchtime and supervision during their break after lunch. Previous experience of working with young children is not essential, but would be an advantage.
Working hours will be 11.45am to 1.30pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
Remuneration will be at £12.70 per hour.
Successful applicants will have the right to work in the UK and will require satisfactory safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced clearance by the Disqualification and Barring Service (DBS) prior to starting work.
