We are looking for a Housing Manager who brings professional housing expertise, strong leadership and a genuine commitment to people. About the Role

As Housing Manager, you will lead the day-to-day management of our housing portfolio, ensuring homes are safe, compliant, well maintained and meet the needs of the autistic adults we support.

You will oversee tenancy management, property compliance, repairs and maintenance, Housing Benefit and exempt accommodation, while providing leadership and support to the housing team. Working closely with residents, landlords, local authorities and other stakeholders, you will ensure high-quality housing services, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the ongoing development and improvement of our housing provision.

About You:

We are looking for someone who:

• Has significant experience working within housing management within a charity, housing association, local authority or similar organisation.
• CIH Level 4 qualification or equivalent, or a willingness to undertake the qualification and achieve it by 2030.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills.
• Has a sound understanding of housing legislation, compliance and tenancy management.
• Can provide advice on complex tenancy and housing matters, including possession proceedings and statutory notices.

• Has a current understanding of housing compliance and legislation, including Awaabs Law, Renters Rights legislation and other relevant housing reforms.
• Experience of property compliance, repairs and contractor management.
• Has a good Understanding of Housing Benefit and exempt accommodation.
• Experience of managing, supervising or supporting staff.
• Is organised, proactive and solution-focused.
• Builds positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
