Some employers require you to download, complete and return additional documents as part of their application process. These may be:
- Addenda to the electronic application form
- Specific letters or exercises

I don’t have Microsoft Word
If documents are in Microsoft Word format and you don’t have a copy of Microsoft Word, here are some alternative word processors that can do the same job.
This is a robust and excellent alternative to Microsoft Office. It’s free for personal use and allows you to complete and save documents in Microsoft Word format.

You can edit and download documents in Microsoft Word (.docx) format using Google Docs. It’s an online word processor with nothing to install. You’ll need a google account, but it’s free to get one. Just visit https://www.google.com/docs/about/ to find out more.
