Due to continued expansion we are looking for an experienced Professional Services Consultant to work for an ERP Vendor that trusts it's people to use their own judgement to get things done.

Professional Services Consultants take full responsibility for the smooth implementation of systems with our customers. You'll lead the implementation teams responsible for the installation and setup of system. You'll also advise both customers and consultants on the use of accounts specific software modules for their particular business.

As an ERP Professional Services Consultant, you will focus on the Accounts modules of the ERP product.

To be effective as an ERP Professional Services Consultant, you should have experience of implementing Accounting / Finance software (ideally ERP solutions) and have business level accounting knowledge.

You will spend a good deal of your time at customer sites focusing on business discovery, installation and configuring systems, so you will be travelling extensively throughout the UK.

As an ERP Professional Services Consultant you'll take ownership of:

• Delivering product demonstrations as part of the pre-sales process.
• Gaining full understanding of clients needs to ensure that implementations meet with client requirements.
• Ensuring that all pre go-live documentation and check lists; especially relating to any modifications, are completed.
• Customer training for the accounts modules, which could involve designing specific training materials.
• Providing the customer with regular status updates to ensure go live readiness.
• Providing initial user support in the early stages post go live.
• Ensuring that support team is equipped with a comprehensive hand over for on-going support needs.

Ideal knowledge & experience for the ERP Professional Services Consultant:

• Experience configuring, installing and implementing ERP or accountancy software
• Previous software consultancy experience.
• Commercial accounting knowledge is paramount.
• A recognised accountancy qualification such as AAT would be an advantage, but is not essential.
• Agile project management experience, ideally with a recognised qualification.
• Whilst not essential, knowledge of relational database management systems (RDMS), ideally SQL Server would give you a distinct advantage.

Remuneration

• Salary £28,000 - £32,000
