Due to growth this ERP Software Vendor now need an additional ERP Sales Consultant to join the team.

This company work with large enterprise organisations and the SME Market as its product is affordable and scalable. As sales cycles for the SME market are vastly reduced this means you can get some quick wins under your belt while nurturing the larger ones that take longer to bring to fruition.

The general ERP Sales Consultant duties:

  • Exceeding sales objectives through selling ERP software and other service solutions to new customers and existing customers. (often customers buy the stand alone accounting module and then add additional modules and services further down the line)
  • Working within defined geographic region you'll be responsible for developing a viable pipeline of new business opportunities within core vertical market areas
  • You'll need to identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, networking and partner relationships, and there will also be leads generated by internal Telesales staff and company marketing for you to follow up
  • Managing the whole sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demos, negotiation through to close
  • Liaising with the pre-sales team when technical or product support is required
  • Developing and maintain a high level of knowledge about products and services
  • Taking full ownership of the territory; understanding the marketplace, competitor activity and any business issues that can positively or negatively impact the region
  • Responding to RFPs/RFIs, coordinating and managing the required input from multiple sources within the company
  • Preparing accurate reports and forecasts and documenting daily sales activities using CRM system

Skills and Experience required for this ERP Sales Consultant position:

  • Robust commercial software Sales Consultant experience of at least 3 years. Ideal as an ERP Sales Consultant.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets in a competitive environment
  • Experience working with merchants, wholesale and distribution market sector
  • Good level of education - Business degree / diploma or an Accounting Qualification or Sales / Marketing qualification
  • Practical knowledge of Accounting Software
  • Ability to prepare and present professional sales proposals
  • Drive, enthusiasm and self-motivated If you are a Sales Consultant this of course should come naturally
  • Full Clean Drivers Licence is essential
