My client, a leading UK company in their field, has an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join their team.

This is a new role with tremendous scope for improving the analysis and specification of their web-based applications.

The Role

The Business Systems Analyst will have the following key responsibilities;

• Work with project sponsor and internal/external stakeholders to identify, clarify, and effectively document business processes and system requirements
• Write and maintain system specification documents for the software development team including data models, entity-relationship diagrams, wireframes, user stories, process flows
• Work with the software development team to produce technical designs consistent with system specification documents
• Organise and lead reviews of requirements/design documents
• Contribute to project planning and system test planning
• Participate in system testing and review

You must have the following skills and experience

• Experience of working within a software development environment producing interactive web applications
• Confident communicator
• Analytical and considered approach
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Proficient with at least one domain-modelling language
• Proficient with at least one data-modelling notation
• Exposure to the Microsoft stack of web technologies, including ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, C#, SQL Server

In addition, the following are desirable

• Background in programming and/or system architecture
• Experience of background screening industry
• Experience working with external/third-party vendors
• Familiarity with an Agile/SCRUM approach
