We urgently seek an PHP Software Developer with experience of the LAMP stack; LINUX, Apache, MySQL and PHP. We use the Laravel framework and GitHub for development management.

We are the authors of an Applicant Tracking System which is licensed by Care Provider, Schools, Colleges and Hospitality providers throughout the South East. The system is comprehensive and enjoys fantastic support from its customers.

As a PHP Software Developer, you will be responsible for bug fixes, incremental enhancements and the development of new functions. Most new features are designed with input from our Ambassador customers.

Role of PHP Software Developer

You will be working to specified time-frames to produce reliable, robust PHP code that performs efficiently on our dedicated server. You will:

• Write outline specifications and Pseudo Code for review
• Maintain Specifications in line with modular enhancements
• Develop well-commented PHP code
• Write JavaScript code
• Develop efficient MySQL queries

Skills and experience required

You will require the following skills and experience as a PHP Software Developer:

• Past experience of writing PHP Code in a commercial setting
• Experience with Relational Databases, preferably MySQL
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of the AGILE development approach
• Experience of taking prototypes to commercial-strength product.
• Preferably educated to at least HND level

We will accept applications from those without an HND level qualification if you can demonstrate sufficient experience.

As a PHP Software Developer, you will working at modern premises in Chatham, Kent. You'll report to the Product Director and work alongside another experienced developer.

There is the opportunity to take part in:

• functional developments and
• the system's integration with Social Media, Job Boards and messaging services.

Most integrations require either XML or JSON format messaging.

We have not yet built an Apple or Google APP, although we may review this at some future date.
