The Canterbury Cathedral Lodge is a unique and contemporary hotel and conference venue in the heart of the city of Canterbury. The Lodge is renowned for stylish and comfortable hotel accommodation with stunning views of the Cathedral and a superb conference venue for meetings, conferences, events and wedding receptions.

The Kitchen at the Lodge caters for many special events, which include:

- anything from a small intimate wedding breakfast to a sit down meal for up to 120 guests;

- Christmas lunches;

- gala dinners,afternoon teas;

- full English breakfast to guests of the Cathedral Lodge;

- catered functions linked to Cathedral events;

- drinks receptions in the beautiful Campanile Garden, overlooking the Cathedral.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Chef de Partie to join the busy catering team. You will have experience of working in a professional kitchen dealing with fresh foods, and be accustomed to maintaining high levels of productivity and food standards during service.

You will be a holder of a City and Guilds 706/3, NVQ Level 2 in Catering & Hospitality or Diploma in Professional Cookery levels 1 & 2 or equivalent, up to date with all current health and hygiene regulations and ideally you will have had experience in a similar role. You will work approximately 40 hours per week including weekends and public holidays, however the position holder should be flexible in their approach to hours worked as these will depend on operational needs.
