Strode Park House is a 19th Century Victorian Manor House set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds in the picturesque village of Herne, Kent. We are a nursing and residential home offering both long and short-term care for adults aged 18 and upwards.

As a Strode Park Care and Support Worker, you will be providing personal care and support to our guests through a variety of tasks. Your care will make a real difference to peoples lives and we are looking for individuals who have the ability, skills and passion to assist vulnerable people and take pride in their work. You will be supported by our dedicated lead carers and home management team. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

You'll need the following skills and qualities:

  • Level 2 Qualification in Health and Social care or a willingness to work towards this within 12 months of being in post.
  • Have a strong interest in working in Adult care services and desire to make a difference.
  • Be enthusiastic, caring, friendly and compassionate.
  • A driving licence and willingness to drive company vehicles is desirable.

Our home provides care on a 24 hour basis, 7 days a week including weekends and bank holidays. This means we need reliable and flexible staff working within our service.

The shift patterns are:

  • Morning is 7am - 1:30pm
  • Afternoon is 1:30pm - 8pm
  • Long day is 7am - 8pm
  • And night is 8pm - 7:15am which you will be expected to work occasionally to cover sickness and annual leave however this will be alternated between all staff.
