Medical Records Officer
One Hatfield Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a medical records officer to join our friendly and dynamic team. If you have a passion for organisation this may be the perfect role for you.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can utilise their existing administrative and organisational skills within our fast-paced Hospital environment. The successful candidate will be required to work predominately within medical records. Full training will be provided.
You will need to be a confident multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail who works well to tight deadlines.
Reporting to the Reservation and Medical Records Lead, the successful medical records officer responsibilities will include:
- providing a high standard of customer service
- liaising with patients and key stakeholders to complete booking requirements
- ensuring our main reception duties and enquiries are handled professionally with a focus on delivering good customer service at all times
- providing administrative support to both the inpatient and outpatient teams, including managing the appointment system, ensuring that patient records and all relevant documentation are processed accurately & assisting with audits
- Ability to book outpatient diagnostic imaging appointments on an 'as and when' requirement.

Qualifications
- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Previous administration experience
- Relevant experience within an administrative role
