Are you an experienced Complex Care Assistant, Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader ready to take the next step in your career? Continuity of Care Services is looking for a compassionate and motivated Field Care Supervisor to support our growing complex care services across Kent, based from our Maidstone Head Office.

This is an excellent opportunity to combine your clinical experience with leadership and staff development responsibilities, making a meaningful difference to the lives of people with complex health needs. Working closely with and receiving guidance from our Care Manager, you will help maintain high standards of person-centred care while supporting, training and mentoring our care teams. For an ambitious Field Care Supervisor, this role also offers a clear opportunity for future progression into a Deputy Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

As our Field Care Supervisor, you will work alongside the Care Manager and Care Coordinator to ensure our care packages operate safely, effectively and consistently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Care Manager with setting up new care packages and introducing care staff to clients.
  • Building a thorough understanding of each client's complex health needs and individual care plans.
  • Inducting, supervising, shadowing and mentoring Complex Care Assistants.
  • Conducting clinical observations and competency assessments to ensure staff can deliver safe, effective care.
  • Identifying training needs and supporting ongoing staff development.
  • Working with the Care Coordinator to maintain appropriate staffing and shift cover.
  • Providing hands-on clinical support, including personal care, medication administration, meal preparation and light household duties.
  • Participating in the shared on-call rota, reporting directly to and receiving support from the Care Manager.

Experience Desired & Required

To succeed as a Field Care Supervisor, you will have the clinical knowledge, communication skills and confidence to support both clients and colleagues. We are looking for:

  • At least one year's experience supporting individuals with disabilities and complex health needs.
  • Practical experience with tracheostomies, ventilators, gastrostomy tubes and bowel management.
  • A QCF Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to lead, motivate and develop care staff.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
  • A willingness to undertake mandatory, fully funded training.

Experience as a Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader or Care Supervisor would be advantageous.

Remuneration & Benefits

We offer a competitive package and ongoing support to help you develop professionally. The position includes:

  • Salary of £27,000- £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • Additional payments for on-call responsibilities and overtime worked.
  • 40-hour working week combining office duties, community visits and clinical shifts.
  • Flexible shift patterns, with varying start and finish times and alternate weekend availability required.
  • Ongoing CPD training and clinical supervision.
  • Paid mileage where applicable.
  • Company mobile phone and scheduling app.
  • Regular on-call support and coaching from your line manager.
  • Company-funded Blue Light Card subscription.
  • £500 refer-a-friend scheme (terms and conditions apply).
  • Access to Mental Health First Aiders and the EPA Programme (Smart Clinic).
  • Pension scheme with The People's Pension and annual charity events.
