We're Hiring! Experienced Field Care Manager

Location: Lewisham, South East London (SE14, SE8, SE10, SE4)

Contract: Full-Time

Are you an experienced Field Care Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a dedicated, professional, and compassionate Field Care Manager to join our established team and help us deliver high-quality, person-centred domiciliary care.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about promoting service users' rights, supporting care staff, and ensuring safe, effective, and compliant care services.

About the Role

As our Field Care Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our domiciliary care service. You will work closely with the existing management team, care staff, service users, families, and other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of care and ensure the smooth delivery of services.

The role requires excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to respond professionally to concerns, incidents, and risks.

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Field Care Supervisor within a busy domiciliary care business.
  • Good local knowledge of Lewisham.
  • Experience using rostering software and ECM systems.
  • A sound understanding of local authority requirements and Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations.
  • Experience conducting Mental Capacity Assessments, developing care plans, and completing risk assessments.
  • A strong commitment to promoting and protecting service users' rights, dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
  • The ability to respond professionally and promptly to concerns, incidents, and risks raised by care staff and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with an established team, sharing duties and responsibilities effectively.
  • The ability to follow management direction, prioritise tasks, and remain calm under pressure.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage.

What We Offer

We value our team and are committed to supporting your professional development. Our benefits include:

  • Excellent induction and training.
  • Opportunities to complete the Care Certificate and relevant NVQ/Diploma qualifications.
  • Full-time employment contract.
  • Ongoing training, management support, and career progression opportunities.
  • Travel expenses reimbursed for external home visits and meetings.
  • Statutory pension scheme.
  • 28 days' annual leave, including bank holidays.
  • Access to Proud to Care rewards.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Additional payment for on-call duties.

Working Arrangements

This role requires a degree of flexibility to meet the needs of our domiciliary care service. Participation in an on-call rota will be required on a rotational basis, as agreed with the management team.

Who Should Apply?

We are seeking a motivated and dependable care professional who can demonstrate leadership, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care.

Please note: Due to the urgent nature of this vacancy and the need to recruit promptly, applications are currently open to candidates who are residing in the UK.
