    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide person-centred care and support tailored to the individual's needs.
    • Support the gentleman in managing his daily routine and promoting independence.
    • Encourage participation in activities such as going to the gym, gaming, playing cards, watching films, football and swimming.
    • Offer reassurance and encouragement when facing fears or challenges.
    • Be aware of epilepsy and Grand Mal (Tonic-Clonic) seizures and follow the relevant care plan and seizure management guidance.
    • Promote safety, dignity and emotional well-being at all times.
    • Build a positive, trusting relationship with the individual.
    • Encourage confidence, social engagement and independence.

    The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal Personal Assistant will be patient, compassionate, dependable and proactive. They will have a positive attitude, respect the individual's choices and be committed to helping him enjoy his interests while developing his confidence and independence.

An understanding of epilepsy and Grand Mal (Tonic-Clonic) seizures would be beneficial. The successful Personal Assistant should be willing to follow training and care guidance to ensure safe and appropriate support.

    About the Role:

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Personal Assistant who wants to make a meaningful difference in someone's everyday life. The role focuses on providing personalised support, encouraging independence and helping the gentleman enjoy the activities that matter to him.
